Columbia River Gorge, OR

Hey beautiful souls! 💛

We’re back after an unforgettable month on the road, recharged, inspired, and ready to share some magic with you! Whether you’re dreaming of your next escape or just need a little wanderlust in your day, we’re here to sprinkle your feed with travel inspiration, breathtaking places, and the beauty of exploring this wild, wonderful world.

Today we take you to the heart of the Pacific Northwest, the stunning Columbia River Gorge: a breathtaking natural wonder. There are 90+ waterfalls on the Oregon side alone, some are right off the Historic Columbia River Highway, others hidden deep in the lush forest. There are many more falls from the Washington side as well, though the Oregon side is more famous and accessible.

🌿✨ Here are 4 Hikes You Shouldn't Miss in the Columbia River Gorge: ✨🌿

🥇 1. Latourell Falls Loop: Our absolute favorite!

📍 2.4 miles | Moderate

It starts off easy, and before you know it, you’re surrounded by lush greenery and the dramatic plunge of Latourell Falls. The basalt columns, the roar of the water, the mist in the air, it’s wildly photogenic. The loop takes you deeper into a mystical rainforest, where the light filters through moss-draped branches like a dream.  This one feels enchanted.

💞 2. Multnomah Falls: The queen of the Gorge

📍 0.4 miles to the bridge | Easy

One of the most photographed waterfalls in America! When you see it, you’ll understand why. Towering 620 feet over two tiers, it’s elegant, romantic, and powerful all at once. The short paved hike to Benson Bridge gives you that iconic view. It’s an emotional moment ... like stepping into a fairytale.

🌿💦 3.  Wahclella Falls: A Trail to a Lost Paradise 💦🌿

📍 Distance: 2.4 miles round trip

📈 Difficulty: Easy to Moderate (short, with a few rocky/muddy spots)

If you’re craving a waterfall adventure that feels untouched, this is it. The trail winds through a narrow, moss-covered canyon, with a gentle creek keeping you company the whole way. You cross wooden bridges, pass small cascades, and weave through ferns and ancient rock walls; it feels like you’ve left the real world behind.

Then suddenly… you arrive.

💫 Wahclella Falls bursts through a deep canyon, wild and powerful, into a turquoise pool. It’s not manicured. Not polished. Just raw, beautiful chaos. The sound is thunderous, the mist refreshing, and the setting straight out of a forgotten world.

We call it our lost paradise.

🎥 4. Oneonta Gorge: The one that got away… but we droned it!

The trail was closed, but we sent the drone in! And  WOW. Towering mossy canyon walls, a narrow river flowing through emerald light, and an atmosphere that feels ancient and untouched. It’s like a portal to another world. Since the gorge was closed we did the upper Oneonta Trail to Triple Falls.  We will definitely have to come back for the gorge when it reopens. 🌌

💡 Extra Tip: If you’re traveling with a dog like we always do 🐾 double-check trail rules. Some paths are dog-friendly, others aren’t. And always bring a towel… they will find the mud 😂

If you need to clear your mind, warm your soul, and step out of reality… the Columbia River Gorge is calling. 💚 A place where waterfalls breathe life into the air, mist dances through ancient trees, and magic lingers on every mossy stone.  Lose the world for a moment and find yourself in a real-life fairytale. 🌿🌫️💦

See you on the next adventure.

With Love,

The Team
