🚗💨 A Scenic Drive Through North Cascades to Selkirk Mountains.
Don’t underestimate North Cascades National Park in Washington,  it’s like driving through a secret slice of the Alps. Jagged peaks, endless pines, and lakes so turquoise they almost don’t look real.

We didn’t plan a big hike,  the wind was crazy that day. So we just pulled over at one of the scenic areas… and wow. Even with the wind blasting, the beauty of that glowing turquoise lake was unreal.Â

We did stretch our legs on the Cutthroat Lake Trail, a 3-mile round-trip hike that’s easy and absolutely worth it. It starts through peaceful forest, then opens up to mountain views and wildflowers, and leads you to a glassy lake framed by rugged peaks. A waterfall tumbles nearby, pure mountain magic. We launched the drone and got a bird’s-eye view  and it was even more breathtaking from above.

After the hike, we hit the road again, heading east from Washington to North Idaho’s Selkirk Mountains. It’s one of those drives where you just want to pull over every few miles. We stopped again to fly the drone and capture the untouched wilderness.

🚘 This drive is perfect if you’re craving scenery without needing to hike miles.

Just roll down the windows, stop where your heart tells you, and let nature do the rest.

See you in our next adventure.
